EYITAYO CHALLENGES RE - ELECTED GOVERNOR AKEREDOLU'S VICTORY IN COURT EFFORT IN FUTILITY.

Over the past weeks, the peoples Democratic party ( PDP) governorship candidate Eyitayo Jegede who loss woefully in the ondo state October 10/10/2020 election has made no shortage of ridiculous statements. With a history of contesting for the same position and losing out, one will say it is generally absurd for such a politician to refuse to accept defeat even though the election was free and fair and the most peaceful according to both local and international observers.
Meanwhile, it is the right of the peoples Democratic party governorships candidate Eyitayo Jegede to approach the court if an electoral process is not free and fair or in the case of violence prevailing the election process or where the election observers alleged rigging of the electoral process. However it is a waste of time and resources for a politician approaches the court for an election rated by observers both locally and internationally as the most peaceful, free and fair election in the history of the country.
The date 8/12/2020 is another date in the history of ondo state as Eyitayo Jegede has petitioned Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who pulled the highest vote and was duely re-elected by an overwhelming poll, in the October 10th 2020 governorship election. The court will yet embrace the choice of the majority and establish the right of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN by declaring him winner as appropriately expected.
The matter is expected to be mentioned while parties will agree on the next date of adjournment for hearing of the petition. However it is expected that all supporters of the parties involved will have to conduct themselves in the most responsible manner, especially in the use of media and the type of messages they convey so that the current peace we experience in Ondo State will continue unabated with our collective understanding and unanimous support.
