Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has advised the PDP candidate in the October 10 Governorship election, Mr Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, and an APC governorship aspirant, Nathaniel Adojutelegan to stop wasting their time and resources in challenging his reelection.
Jegede is challenging Akeredolu's victory at the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Akure over alleged electoral irregularities and overvoting in some areas.
Adojutelegan on the other hand is challenging Akeredolu's APC candidacy at a federal high Court in Abuja.
He said the primary election that produced him was not done in line with the party's constitution and the Electoral Act as amended.
Speaking at a youth forum in Akure, the governor said he was duly reelected by the people of the state.
He said his electoral victory was an act of God and nobody could reverse it.
