The Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), in Ondo State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin has expressed shock over the death of a political leader, Dr. Kingsley Babasola Shaba.

He died on Sunday evening.

The publicity secretary of the party, Alex Kalejaye in a statement on Monday said Adetimehin described the death of Dr. Shaba as an irreparable loss to APC family in the State, adding that his contributions to the development, and success of the party in the Sunshine State were enormous.

By his death, he argued, the entire APC family and Ondo State have been denied the services of a selfless illustrious son, and a consistent promoter of peace and development.

The Chairman said, "Dr. K. B. Shaba was a man of integrity, and exceptionally hardworking. He was a very committed and dependable political ally".

The State chapter equally recalls visiting the shrewd administrator in his house recently, when he spoke passionately about the gains of good governance and buoyant economy to the citizens.

Adetimehin condoles with the immediate family, the people of Akoko South East, and the Anglican community.  He prayed God to grant the departed eternal rest.
