Full Restriction Of Movement As Ondo Holds Environmental Sanitation Exercise

The National Orientation Agency (NOA), Ondo State Directorate has admonished the people of Ondo State to come out on Saturday to clean their environment as the state commemorate this month's environmental sanitation.

The exercise is slated for Saturday 28th Nov. 2020 between the hours of 7:00am and 10:00am with full restriction of vehicular and human movement.

The directive by Ondo NOA was contained in press statement made available to the newsmen by NOA's Acting Director, Mrs Olawumi Famuyiwa through the Agency PRO, Ralph Oguntibeju.

She reiterated that the tasks of making our environment clean is the responsibility of all citizens resident in the state.

She then enjoined the people to guide against unwholesome practices of indiscriminate dumping of refuse to volatile area as it could constitute environmental health hazard to the overall well-being of citizenry.

Mrs Famuyiwa also charged stakeholders to ensure this month's edition is a huge success.


She warned those who are in the habit of contravening the provision of the extant law of the exercise to desist as anyone caught by law enforcement agents during the exercise would be prosecuted except for people on essential services emergencies duty.
