History has it that "it is in the nature of political gladiators to campaign using their manifestos to win the heart of the electorates during election campaigns".
The politicians sell their aspirants or candidates using the power of either the past achievements of the aspirants which must have benefitted the masses or using the extra ordinary leaderships quality of the politician as a campaign tools which the masses must be aware of.
However, it has been a trend in Ondo state politics where political gladiators fight dirty using propaganda as a tool to campaign against their opposition.
According to research, these propagandas have always worked due to the fact that the government at that time had nothing to show for their four years in office.
For instance, they owed workers salaries for several months, no promotion of civil servants, no arears paid, no pensions paid, no functional health care services, no good road network, poor IGR, no soft loan for farmers and SMAs etc.
So one can say those who went on radio, television, prints and social media platforms to campaign using this defects in the state to win the heart of the electorates were right; in other to deliver the state from further decay in the hands those who had power at their disposal then.
Meanwhile in Ondo state of today, political gladiators, still throw their morals, reputations and self respect to the dogs just to tarnish the image and good works being achieved through hard work, sacrifices, selflessness, transparency, accountability, sleepless nights of putting together blue print that has changed the state from just a civil servants state to one of the investor-friendly states in Nigeria.
This is a big shame and a slap on the face of the electorates who can differentiate between the Ondo state of 1999 and the the Ondo state of today under the watch of His Excellency Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN.
Together, the people of Ondo state says no to propaganda and yes to continuity of good governance by Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu (SAN).
