••• impeachment not an option, as Akeredolu sees not Odu ,Ojogo as quality replacement

The embattled deputy governor of Ondo state, Agboola Ajayi may have become a hard nut to crack in Akeredolu's government despite all the political machineries and influence the governor possesses.

Few months ago, Agboola and Akeredolu's feud got ignited by some political miscalculations targeted at the office of the deputy governor as led by some of Agboola's political allies who betrayed him.

The government of Akeredolu and second term ambition has since remain in shambles and threatened by the political sagacity and ruggedness possessed by Agboola, characterized by his weapon of silence in the course of the battle.

The echoes of Agboola even from the hole and his sophisticated weapon of silence employed has left trembling Donald Ojogo, Oladunni Odu and others scheming to take over leadership of the party in the south as each day passes by thereby leaving Aketi's camp unsettled.

Akeredolu's camp in the last few months has deployed all resources and strategies to fish out what the deputy is up to, but the end result has always been an ear saying with no concrete evidence to nail him and back different allegations flying around him.

Meanwhile political analysts in the state have projected impending failure for Akeredolu's reelection if he wrestles power from his deputy, describing the schemers as paper weight politicians in the South that can hardly win their wards in the current political permutations of the state.

It was learnt that, Akeredolu's factor of relaxing Agboola's impeachment plan is not a coincidence but a gentle approach after weighing the options before him ,particularly the qualities of available replacements that can win election for him.

No doubt, Akeredolu may have to leave with this predicament for a reasonable period but how long he will be able to condone Agboola's political scheming without causing total damage to his second term ambition remains a mystery.
