Ondo State government has witnessed remarkable commendations from the people of Ondo state due to the proactive measures taken by the state Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN to put in place COVID-19 palliatives to alleviate the sufferings of the people especially for the vulnerable and the poor due to the lockdown in the Ondo state.
The Chief Imam of Ondo Kingdom, Sheik Basiru Alimi said Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu has been known to always put the people of Ondo state first before his personal and political ambitions.
The palliative packages will go a long way to ease the economic effect that the COVID-19 lockdown directives may have on the people.
The Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Ondo West Pastor J. Asekere said no doubt Akeredolu is the pillar of Ondo state and the palliatives will will help many families who lives on daily wages as a means of livelihood.
The people of ondo state showered prayers on Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu and the government and promised their support for the Governor in the next gubernatorial election.
Meanwhile, the Ondo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Pastor Femi Agagu has supported the ongoing distributions of the Ondo State COVID-19 Palliatives, by giving out five thousands Naira (#5,000) each to 200 people in Okitipupa local government areas.
However, SUBEB Chairman, Princess Oladunni Odu has also disclosed that, she will be giving out five thousands Naira (#5,000) each to 200 people in Okitipupa local government areas.
This new development in the state has been applauded by all well meaning citizens in all the senatorial districts.
