Ondo State House of Assembly has promised to partner the government to make education in the state a cynosure in the country.
Chairman, House Committee on Vocational, Technical and Tertiary Institutions, Hon Felemu Gudu Bankole made the promise during a familiarization visit to the University of Medical Sciences Ondo (UNIMED)
Hon Felemu Gudu who commended efforts of the institution's management in securing accreditation for courses in a short period of two years assured of the Assembly's support at all times.
The Vice Chancellor of UNIMED, Professor Friday Okonofua who appreciated the committee members for the visit pleaded with them to support the institution to a greater height.
Professor Okonofua who revealed that the institution would be graduating its first set of medical doctors by 2019, affirmed its determination to forge ahead against all odds.
