We have other members in Ondo state, says arrested Boko Haram member

Muhammed Bashar, a member of the dreaded terrorist sect, Boko Haram has confessed that their are other members of the gang in Ondo state.
Bashar, 40, who spoke through an interpreter made this known when the Police paraded him and others arrested for other crimes in Akure the state capital.

While speaking with newsmen, he also confessed to killing two people in the cause of being a member of the sect he joined eight months ago.

His first, was a child he killed inside a farm, while the second, he killed on the road.

According to Bashar, killing people is easy for him.

On how they got weapons, Bashar said "well-to-do Nigerians" supplied them in the bush.

While briefing newsmen, the Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Gbenga Adeyanju, said the Police will get other suspected Boko Haram members in the state.

He said: "We'll get them, and you will see the result very soon."

He also paraded other suspects arrested for various crimes.

Among those paraded were: Ifeanyi Daniel 49 and Lucky Johnson 42, who were arrested with 12 bags of weed suspected to be Indian hemp in Amurin camp via Owo.

Others paraded were 8 suspected cultists, who were arrested in Igoba and Oba-Ile in Akure North local government area of the state.

The Police also announced the arrest of a serial robbery suspect, Olatunde Micheal AKA Aghahowa who had earlier escaped from police custody.

Found in his possession were one locally made revolver pistol and one cut cut to size barrel gun and two cartridges.
