Independence Day  2017: Youths Set to Dialogue On Nigerian Economy At The Advancement #Advancement #TheAdvancement

As Nigeria clocks 57 on the 1st of October, 2017, Nigerians; especially the youth really need to question the status quo.

Is the news about the recession not frightening? Is the thought of the coming hardship and epileptic delivery of crucial services to citizens not disturbing? Yes they are.

However, the state of any place is in the validity of its people and the conscious effort to ensure that there is a drastic progress in the country greatly lies on its citizens.

This and many more necessary futuristic thoughts is why the largest Independence Day conference is a compulsory ritual.

The success of the past four (4)  editions from 2013 – Advancement 1.0 till the last Advancement 4.0, has reached well over 9,500 youths. We have within this period recorded success stories, grass root awareness, kid and youth inclusion in governance, nation building and a whole lot of moral building. We have sustained and arrived at a point where we bring role models, call political powers and government officers up for reasonable dialogue.

All this has granted us solutions in part.  Seeing the records and reports of these rising developments, we are more convinced of the need to do more, to call more youths to order and set them on the track needed for them to tour in making Nigeria truly a better place to live.

This has led to the advent of the Advancement 5.0 which is the 2015 Edition of this movement. Unlike the past editions, the theme for this year's event is "Economic Dialogue - Ordinary People Building an Extraordinary Nigeria".

This year's edition is coming with unique touch as we would be having the same event go live by 9:00AM, October 2nd, 2017  in 3 different cities of the country respectively

(Abuja - Civic Innovation Lab: No 50 Ademola Adetokunbo crescent, Wuse 2 Abuja Osas and osaji building (Beside H-Medis by Amigos),

Akure- Advancement Hub, after A&T Hotel, owo express, Akure,

Lagos - House 7, Plot 2/3 opposite yard 158, First Bank Bus Stop, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun Ikeja, Lagos).

The huge vision to birth a new Nigeria borne out of an intellectualized revolution in Technology, Business, Politics, National Security and Social Development,  continues as it encapsulates an wholesome need of the Nigerian youth.  The Advancement has been known to give a platform for dialogue between diverse age group, intellectual discussion beefed up by fire-branded keynote and panel session speakers, will not fail to deliver more than expected at this year's conference

The audience can also look forward to meeting those who have immense contributions to youth development, committed to nation building and are key players in the future of Technology in Nigeria.

The Curator of The Advancement, Olusola Amusan, when asked why there should be a massive turnout at the Advancement 5.0 said, "Advancement 5.0 - Economic Dialogue is a strategic response to the challenge of our generation, a challenge that borders on  direction; we understand that; "In every generation, the destiny of the people rests upon the shoulders of a few, a few good rebels, who will take political, economic, intellectual and physical responsibility borne on the wings of leadership for the course of change. We have no affiliation with government, political parties or individuals, all we seek is ADVANCEMENT!"

The massive attendance and success at the previous editions was as a result of the hands that contributed to this vision of the nation's urgent need for advancement.

"The Advancement Team is working and sourcing for more youths that are willing to sacrifice their time and resources to help carry this vision.  We believe strongly in volunteering and partnerships because they have helped us to sustain a continuous vibe of sustenance throughout the years. "I can confidently say #VolunteeringIsFun," said the Partnership Director for Advancement 4.0, Pelumi Oladipo.

We use this rare medium to say a big thank you to our long standing partners, as we greatly still indulge all well-meaning Organizations to join in making this message reach every nook and cranny. With you we know that this work could be easier, scale faster and make the impact we have recorded quadruple in the coming days There is no doubt that "The Advancement" will continue to impact the youths for years to come as Advancement 5.0 would leave an indelible impact on the gross development of Nigeria
