The Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has approved the appointment of Dr. Francis Adegoke Akanbiemu as the new Executive Secretary of the state Primary Health Care Development Board.
The appointment, which will last four years, took effect July 1, 2017.
Dr. Francis Adegoke Akanbiemu who hails from Idoani in Ose Local Government Area was until his new appointment the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics at the Ondo State Hospitals' Management Board (HMB).
The Ondo State Head of Service (HoS), Barr. 'Toyin Akinkuotu said that the appointment is to strengthen the Primary Health Care Development board in the state so as to make it more efficient and result-oriented and in line with vision of the new administration.
He further said that the state government would in due course consider the appointment of other deserving officers as appropriate.
Akinkuotu in a statement commended the state governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, for his positive disposition towards career enhancement of officers in the state.
"The appointment at this time reflects the State Government's determination to reposition Primary Health Care to be more efficient and result oriented." The HoS said.
He advised the new Executive Secretary to exhibit brilliant service health care delivery towards achieving an outstanding success.
