THE Ondo State government, on Friday, said that the list of commissioners that will oversee the affairs and activities of Ondo State with Governor Rotimi Akeredolu would be ready soon.
It is on record that Akeredolu was inaugurated as the sixth civilian governor of the state in February, has been administering the state without a cabinet.
The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Segun Ajiboye, disclosed this today that the list of the commissioners would be presented soon to the House of Assembly by the governor.
"The governor is a meticulous person and will be careful in picking his commissioners and others that will work with him. I am sure the list will be out immediately Mr Governor is through with it and will be presented before the House of Assembly.
"The governor is one person who does not do half measure but I can assure you that within the next few weeks, the list will be ready," Ajiboye said.
Some members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state attributed the delay in the release of the commissioners to the list of crisis that rocked the House of Assembly at the twilight of the immediate past administration in the state.
But despite the intervention of Governor Akeredolu in the crisis and the fact that the ruling party controls the majority of the seats in the Assembly, the governor has failed to present the list to the lawmakers.
