Hundreds supporters of PDP in Irele local government today join APC, they were received into the party by the State Acting Chairman of APC Engr. Ade Adetimehin.
While speaking on behalf of the defectors, Chief Femi Moyegun said " I'm a progressive, I didn't defects to PDP because i was a member of Labour Party, I joined PDP accidentally, today I found my way back to progressive, APC . The government of APC led by Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is a brand new government in ondo State, the government is performing, within 100 days in office the government has embarked on developmental projects, workers salaries are paid as at when due, OSUSTECH is receiving attention " he concluded.
While receiving the defectors, the State Acting Chairman of APC in Ondo State Engr. Ade Adetimehin welcome the defectors, he assures them of equal treatment as no one would discriminate against them. He said " APC is a progressive party , our Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is an accommodating leader. As you can see, within 100 days in office, the State has witnessed unprecedented development under the leadership of Mr Governor. He refers to the defectors as new members, he also enjoined them to go to their various wards, to team up with leadership of the party " he said
APC leaders who attended the event are, Special Assistant on political matter Hon. Austin Pelemo, represented the deputy Governor, APC southern senatorial chairman Mr Oyetokun , Mr Adebusoye Oloruntosin Joshua Babarere, Prince Jimmy Odimayo, Baba Igbasan, Irele local government chairman Prince Odimayo Jnr and his counterpart from Ese-Odo Hon. Bekewei Olowu and others
Engr. Ade Adetimehin was accompanied by some APC leaders, which include Hon. Akinwalere Sunday, Hon. Ajikiola Oluwasogo Clement, Barr. Tobi Ogunleye Felix, Idanre local government chairman Hon Adebiyi Ayannuola and his counterpart from Ifedore local government Hon. Oladipo Ajibola.
