A legal practitioner and Notary Public, Mr Remigius Akinbinu has petitioned the acting Chief Judge of Ondo State and the Chief Registrar over an alleged plan to frustrate the adjudication of criminal matter pending before the judiciary.

In the petition to Governor, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, the National Judicial Council (NJC) and the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the Legal Practitioner accused the acting Chief Judge, Justice Temitayo Osoba and Mr Anthony Akinrinsola of planning to scuttle the execution of a court order given by a court in the judiciary.

A Chief Magistrate Court had ordered the forfeiture of the property of a surety Mr Ademola Ariyo having failed to present himself before the court to fulfil the obligation under his bond.

Ariyo had stood surety for one Bimbo Akinsehinwa who was standing trail for alleged obtaining money under false pretence.

But Akinbinu in his petition said the Magistrate Court Presided by M.A Akinsanya as a consequence of the continued Violation of the bail conditions of  Akinsehinwa in charge  MAK/0/97C/2016 (C.O.P vs. Bimbo Akinsehinwa & 4 others ordered the forfeiture of properties belonging to one of the sureties; Ariyo in Motion No. MAK/0/9CM/2017.

The lawyer alleged that no sooner had the bailiff of the court executed the order of court on that the top echelon of the judiciary quizzed the rational of the execution and granting of a positive order of court.
