The Ondo state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has promised to return the former hajj camp along Igbatoro road in Akure used for the conduct of hajj process back to Muslims this year.
The state Chairman of Muslim Welfare Board, Alhaji Khalil Fawehinmi disclosed this while playing host to members of the Forum for Muslimah in his office in Akure.
Fawehinmi said that the Governor is a man of his words who has the interest of the Muslim at heart, saying that people only need to pray so that people do not make him go astray.
He noted that, the governor has given about six sensitive appointments to muslims including the number two protocol officer.
He charged the women to tighten their belts to meet the challenges of bringing up their children in a proper and godly way so that they can reap the fruit of their labour.
He also emphasized the need for Muslims to participate in politics to ensure they are being identified rather than relegating them to the background.
Earlier, the state Coordinator of the Forum, Alhaja Ambali Oluremi said the Forum is a new generation of Muslim women seeking for the face of Almighty Allah for sharing APC ideology to affect the life of women positively through all means.
Oluremi said "our vision is maximising the divine potentials of an individual to excel in their chosen area of life".
The forum identified the need for training and retraining of women and the girl-child in skill acquisition to generate wealth leading to positive sustainance among others.
" As Muslim women if though and honour integrity, you can be rest assured that we would stand solidly behind him and his men and that we would do everything possible to ensure his success by resisting any move and attempts to rubbish his personality and that of his administration", she said.
In an interview with Fawehinmi who is the founder of the forum, she disclosed that the Forum was formed to make corrections where needed and ensure that women are not marginalised.
