The doctors ended the strike on Wednesday.
Akeredolu praised the doctors for their commitment to duties, and assured them of his administration's plan to meet their demands.
In a statement from the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Segun Ajiboye, Akeredolu said he would not renege on his promise to move the state forward.
The governor, who sympathised with the doctors over their suffering, praised them for comporting themselves well when the industrial action lasted.
He reiterated his promise not to owe workers in the state and that their salaries would be paid regularly.
In a telephone interview with The Hope, the Chief Medical Director, Mother and Child Hospital, Akure, Dr. Adesina Akintan confirmed that all doctors and health workers are fully back at work.
"We are fully on ground, we have organized ourselves and patients have been coming enmass to the hospital since Wednesday.
"We will leave no stone unturned to ensuring qualitative healthcare service to the citizenry," he assured.
Also speaking, the Chief Medical Director, State Specialist Hospital, Ondo, Dr. Johnson Adetimehim, affirmed that the level of patronage of patients since Wednesday was quite impressive.
He noted that " patients have been coming in large numbers to the hospital . Members of staff are on ground, work has commenced in earnest.
"We have been attending to patients even as many are coming to the hospital, I can assure you that we are doing our best even more than before.
A senior nurse in the post-natal unit of Akure MCH, Mrs, Ige Owolabi equally confirmed that patients are coming in large numbers for clinical services.
She added that those who have missed the immunization of their children have filled the hospital to ensure that they are immunized.
According to her, the development is normal whenever health workers resumed from strike, saying all the patients who have missed their medical checkups and immunization among others will come to the clinic in large numbers to receive treatments .
