Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has assured that his government would reward loyalty, dedication and competence.
Akeredolu gave the assurance during the swearing in ceremony of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Hon Ifedayo Abegunde and Chief of Staff (COS), Chief Olugbenga Ale, at the Governor's office in Akure.
He promised to bring more people on board in due course to hold key positions in his administration as part of efforts at developing the state across all sectors.
Arakunrin Akeredolu,charged the appointees to rededicate themselves to the service of the state by keeping to the oath of allegiance they just took.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after the ceremony, the newly inaugurated Secretary to the State Government, Hon Ifedayo Abegunde, promised to work assiduously with Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for the benefit and wellbeing of the people of Ondo State.
Also in his interaction with newsmen after the programme, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale, said he would work hard to justify the confidence reposed in him.
Five Senior Special Assistants (SSA), the Chief of Protocol with a Deputy Chief of Protocol; Chief Press Secretary and two Press Secretaries were publicly presented at the occasion.
