Buhari confirms Saraki, Dogara visit, thanks Nigerians for their prayers [PHOTOS]

Buhari shakes Saraki in UK Feb2017

President Muhammadu Buhari has confirmed thathe was visited by Senate President Bukola Saraki, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara and the Senate Leader Ahmed Lawan on Wednesday night.

The lawmakers arrived at the Abuja House in London a few minutes before 8pm Nigerian time.

"I thanked them for visiting. I'm also grateful to Nigerians, Christians and Muslims alike, for their prayers and kind wishes for my health."

Buhari has been in the UK on medical vacation since January 19.

He was initially scheduled to return February 5, buthe sent a letter to the Senate asking for an indefinite extension of his vacation.‎
