Egypt will play in the final of this year's Africa Cup of Nations, after they defeated Burkina Faso 4-3 on penalties in the semi-final clash on Wednesday night.
The match ended 1-1 after normal and extra time.
Mohamed Salah had given Egypt the lead in the second half, but Aristide Bance equalized almost immediately for the West Africans, becoming the first player to score against the Pharoahs in this year's competition.
The game eventually had to be decided via penalty kicks, after both teams failed to find a winner within 120 minutes.
44-year-old Essam El-Hadary emerged as the hero of the day, as the goalkeeper saved spot-kicks from counterpart Kouakou Herve Koffi and Bertrand Traore.
Seven-time winners Egypt will face either Ghana and Cameroon in the final.
