Monday was a sad day of reckoning for two female members of a robbery gang after they were nabbed in Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital with sophisticated master keys.
The suspects, identified only as Favour and Uchechi from Abia and Imo state respectively, allegedly use the master keys to penetrate unsuspecting victims' doors after they have gone out for work seeking for daily livelihood.
DAILY POST learnt they were nabbed in the act at about 11:30am on Monday along Rumuoke, off Ada George Road, in the state capital.
The duo was almost lynched before they were handed over to the Ada George Police Division.
The state police spokesperson, DSP Nnamdi Omoni, was not available for comments as at press time but a police source told our correspondent they were currently being interrogated.
