Following the premiere of Omoni Oboli's 'Wives on Strike" movie, the cast have held meet and greet with their fans in several states.
Oboli and Uche Jombo recently in Ondo State, and the Governor, Olusegun Mimikowas in Filmhouse Akure to support them.
Jombo took to her Instagram page to share a photo with the caption;
" Guess who joined the movement #WivesOnStrike it's more than a movie. Thank you Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo state for coming to our #meet&greet #Akure #filmHouse last night. #WivesOnStrike is still showing in EVERY cinema nationwide. ...join the movement FYI @biolaalabi your state is probably the neatest state I have ever been to."
The comedy film which features Uche Jombo, Chioma Akpotha, Ufuoma Mcdermott, Kehinde Bankole, Kalu Ikeagwu, Julius Agwu, Kenneth Okonkwoamong others.
The movie kicked off its first cinema week with 290 shows.

Wives on Strike, is a hilarious comedy about a group of market women who decided to take matters into their own hands against their husbands in a bid to stir them into standing up for a young girl whom they wanted to protect from the wishes of her own father.
The women, who hilariously interpret their roles, set a series of events in motion to give the movie many moments of laughter without missing a beat on the reason for everyone to know why they are on strike.
On Sunday, April 3, 2016, an exclusive premiere for the movie held at the Genesis Deluxe Cinemas VIP Screening Room, and was attended by Omoni Oboli, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Julius Agwu, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, Alex Ekubo, OC Ukeje, Uche Jombo, Uzor Osimkpa among others.
