Osinbajo denies resigning as RCCG Pastor, vows to continue honouring God’s call

An online report claiming that Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has resigned as a Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has been debunked by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Akande stressed that his principal will continue to honour the call of God on his life by serving as a pastor in the RCCG, dismissing the report by IgbereTV as "misleading and completely baseless."

The statement held that the Vice President, "is in fact the Pastor-in-Charge of RCCG Lagos Province 48, a position he has held in the past three years and in which he continues to serve."

It maintained that the completely fabricated report should be ignored and disregarded in its entirety.
