The All Progressives Congress' (APC) deputy governor-elect in Kogi, Mr Abiodun Faleke, has cried out that his life is in danger.
In multiple tweets via his Twitter handle,@JAFaleke, he alleged that the camp of theKogi State Governor-elect, Yahaya Bello is making serious threat to his life.
Faleke said he resorted to voicing out on Twitter because the the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase and the Director General, Department of State Security Service (DSS), Lawal Musa Daura did not act on his petitions regarding the matter.
Faleke, who is also a member of the House of Representatives representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, was the the late Abubakar Audu's running mate in the Nov. 21 Kogi State governorship election, which the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared inconclusive.
However, following a rerun election in 91 polling units of the state, Bello, whom the APC presented as Audu's replacement emerged winner of the polls.
Apparently, Faleke was dissatisfied with the development and vowed not attend the swearing-in ceremony of Bello and himself. He had approached the court to declare him (Faleke) Governor of the state instead.
