Daughter of the late Mrs H.I.D Awolowo, Reverend Mrs. Tola Oyediran has revealed that her late mother will be buried in a golden casket and with a damask cloth which the departed had purchased for that purpose 36 years ago.

According to Tola, the golden casket is to be brought in from the United State of America, USA, in which she is to be buried at a grave beside that of her late husband, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

Her final interment is scheduled for the 25th of November, which would have been her hundredth birthday.

According to the daughter, "Mama in her unique way had kept a white damask to be laid in her casket whenever she died since the day she stopped her fabric sales business. And if I am not mistaken, I think she stopped selling fabrics around 1979; meaning that since then, she had kept that damask for that purpose. That is her wish and it will be like that."

Tola went on to disclose that HID will be buried at the Awolowo Mausoleum in Okenne, Ogun State.
