Yewande, who spoke with our correspondent on the telephone on Saturday, said the former minister of finance was recuperating gradually and would get better very soon.
She stated, ''He is taking a rest and getting better. After next week, he would be available for press interviews."
Many friends and family members besieged the Akure home of Falae to sympathise with his wife, Rachael and other family members following his abduction on Monday, September 21 by suspected Fulani herdsmen on his farm in Ilado village, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
He regained freedom on Thursday, September 24, following the intervention of the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase, his men and other security operatives in the state.
His relations and friends welcomed him back home amid cheers and jubilation.
Though Falae's wife was not available to speak with our correspondent, a nephew of Falae, Mr. Dayo Awude, said members of the family were worried about him until he was released.
Awude, a former Chairman of the State Scholarship Board, said, "We give God the glory for what has happened. We are happy as members of the family, we are excited and it was God that did it .
"Baba was there for four days, but God kept him. Those four days were traumatic, it was four days of hell in the family because he is an old man, we don't know the condition he was subjected to, so we were bothered. We thank God Almighty that he is back.
"We thank President Muhammadu Buhari for doing this for us, we also thank the Inspector-General of Police and his men for all their efforts to bring our father back to us hale and hearty."
Simlarly, a brother-in-law to Falae and leader of the Pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, Chief Reuben Fasoranti, who expressed happiness over Falae's safe return, added that the four days he spent in captivity were not good days for his family members.
Fasoranti said, ''I am overwhelmed. I thank God that he came back alive because anything could have happened. We didn't know his abductors; they only spoke to us on the telephone from nowhere. We thank God for everything. It was not a good experience for the family.''
Meanwhile, the family of Falae has bared journalists and unknown individuals from entering the Oba-Ile, Akure residence of the freed elder statesman.
When our correspondent visited the residence on Saturday, the entrance to the house was shut and one of the policemen manning the gate told our correspondent that they had been instructed not to allow journalists and unknown persons enter the house.
