Oritsefemi Shares What He Has Learnt On The Road To Success

The 'Redi Dance' singer put up this piece and sent it in to me today.‎ Read below:

Forgive those who have wronged you not because they deserve to be forgiven, but because you love yourself too much to keep paying for the same injustice.

In your whole life nobody has abused you more than you have abused yourself. The limit of your self-abuse is exactly the limit that you will tolerate from someone else.

Sending emotional poison to others is merely using your own word against yourself. If you love yourself you will express that love in your interactions with others.

If someone calls you stupid and you believe them, this means that you agree with them and assume that they know what is in your world. It's important not to take anything personally because opinion is not necessarily truth.

If somebody tells you how wonderful you are, they aren't saying it because of you. You know that you are wonderful. It is not necessary to believe other people who tell you that you are. This is their own perception of reality.

Something humans fear more than death is the act of truly being ourselves. We are afraid that others will judge us in the same way that we judge ourselves…in this way we reject ourselves before others have the chance to.
