The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Lasisi oluboyo has been sworn-in.
Speaking after the swearing in performed by the state Chief Judge, Justice Olasehinde Kumuyi, the state Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko said the change in the baton would not have negative impact on the state.
Govenor Mimiko who noted that the swearing in was the first in the history of the state said the decision of the state house of assembly in impeaching the former Deputy Governor, alhaji ali Olanusi was in order.
He said the impeachment enjoys the support of the state government and the people of the state.
Until his new position, Oluboyo was the state commissioner for Agriculture.
Olanusi was impeached earlier in the day by 24 out of 26 members of the State House of Assembly.
