Tension in Benue over David Mark's loss to APC candidate

David Mark may have lost his re-election bid to the National Assembly. He has held the seat for 16 years.

Unofficial results indicate that Senator David Mark has lost to the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Daniel Onje in Otukpo, Okpokwu, Apa and Oju local government area.

Reports say the remaining five local government areas in the zone are mixed up in a way, but there is tension in the air that Onje may be ending Mark's 16-year reign at the National Assembly.

However, words on social media  by individuals who claim to be in the know are that David Mark has lost the bid.
