In the midst of Skales' performance last night, Wednesday January 21, 2014, at Industry Nite the act revealed why he is close to the Omo Akin.
"Last year it was hell for me. I went through ups and downs and stuffs like that till God blessed me. And Omo Akin is one of my real brothers that held my back" he said.
"When I was broke he was always there for me. Big shout out to him" he further said. After acknowledging Omo Akin's contribution to his life the pair went on to close the show.
Skales left EME in February, 2014, and got signed by Baseline in May.
