A 55-year-old Japanese lecturer was left naked on Tuesday by his 21-year-old student lover who ran away with his clothes after he stripped to express his love for her.
Student Pulse gathered that the lecturer (unnamed), teaches Computer Science at theTaisho University, Tokyo, had obliged his beau's request to remove his clothes in public as a sign of his love for her.
"Take off your clothes right there if you want me to trust you," she said, according to his statement to officials.
Unfortunately for him, after he removed all his clothes, the girl gathered them and ran away.
He was left feeling sorry after the love risk failed to pay off.
"I apologise that what I did, which I did to protect my loved one, resulted in such a situation," the chastened lecturer later told his students," he said.
Officials of the university say his has offered to resign.
"The instructor acted to assuage the woman's insecure feelings but admitted it was an extremely careless thing to do. He expressed his intention to resign," the school said in a statement.
Interestingly, the lecturer went back home with his lover after the incident.
