President Goodluck Jonathan has taken his re-election campaign to Kano State. He arrived in the state on Wednesday, January 21, and also paid a visit to the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari has taken his campaign to Kano State. Buhari arrived in the town on Tuesday, January 20, and his campaign rally was attended by a mammoth crowd of supporters.

January 20, 2015 - Niger State Deputy Governor, 200 others dump PDP 15 days to polls

The Deputy Governor of Niger State, Ahmed Ibeto has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Ibeto defected on Monday, January 19, along with 200 other political office holders.

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari has paid a courtesy visit to former Head of State, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB). Buhari, along with his running mate, Yemi Osinbajo, visited IBB on January 19, at the latter's home in Minna, Niger State.

Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State has said that the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Jimi Agbaje is too old to rule the state. Fashola stated this during a special rally held by the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday, January 14.
