Sometime last year, I got a big public speaking through the media. On my birthday, I shared a bit story of my life background to all friends on the various social media am connected to. From there I received a speaking appointment from someone who I have not met before. He only read the story I shared on my social media and decided to invite me to come and speak in his church. Believe me: it was great, impacting the people's lives and also putting a large sum of money in my pocket. One great lesson I learnt from this was the power and profit in social media.
