Recuperating Adeboye meets Obasanjo in Jos

Lt. Col Adeboye Obasanjo, who was injured in a Boko Haram ambush in Michika, Adamawa State, on Monday, met his father, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Saturday in Jos.

Adeboye, who is the Commander, 135 Field Engineering Regiment of the Nigerian Army in the Plateau State capital, arrived at Wase Close Jos residence of the former President around 6.15pm after he was discharged earlier in the day from the Military Reference Hospital, Kaduna.

Details of their discussion could not be ascertained as the two met behind closed door with some military chiefs, the Plateau deputy governor, STF commander, Jos, Maj. Gen. David Enetie; and Gbong Gwom Jos, Gyang Buba.

Obasanjo and his recuperating son came out of the meeting at about 7.09pm and both left the residence of the former President in the same vehicle.
