Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has disclosed that the new Emir of Kano would be announced on Sunday, June 8.
He stated this few hours after some Kano kingmakers submitted the four names to him.
The three kingmakers are Madakin Kano, Sarkin Bai, Sarkin Dawakin Mai'tuta, and Makaman Kano.
Reports have it that the ousted CBN governor, Sanusi Lamido is among those jostling for the traditional stool following the demise of Ado Bayero on Friday.
