
They barricaded the main entrance with their buses and remained there for hours, saying they would not leave until their school fees were reduced and their arrested colleagues released unconditionally.
The students who came with mats, mosquito nets, cooking pots and other things, were said to have arrived at about 3pm in over 10 buses.
The students set up firewoods which they used to prepare beans near the entrance of the Governor Fashola's Office.

The students refused to be discouraged by the rain, as they danced to solidarity songs and held mid-day prayers to seek divine intervention.

The president of the LASU Student Union Government, Mr. Yusuf Nurudeen, said the students had resolved to fight their cause until their demands were met by the government.
He said, "Our school has been shut down. Students are dropping out of the university on a daily basis. We decided not to engage the party leaders because the people in government do not understand any language. The only language they understand is protest.
"We have resolved to fight this struggle by ourselves. We are a pressure group in the country. We can do this alone. We do not want any person to fight for us. We elected Governor Fashola. We elected all the members of the House of Assembly. They must listen to us."

They were eventually forced to leave when no official spoke with them but vowed to return until their demands are met
This is not the first time, the students would be protesting. They had on June 3rd taken to the Ikeja Airport roadright down to Ikeja bus-stop in Lagos State causing a gridlock.
Meanwhile eight students were on Wednesday, June 4 arraigned before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates' Court for hijacking a LAGBUS bus.
