Aguero named Barclays Player of the Month for October, Pochettino takes manager’s gong

Manchester City's Sergio Aguero, has won the
Barclays Player of the Month for October, after scoring
four times in three EPL games. The Argentine striker scored
when City defeated Everton 3-1,
before helping himself to a brace against West Ham, in
another 3-1 win. Aguero was also on target when City
lost to Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge and has scored
a total of nine goals so far – the joint highest. His compatriot
Mauricio Pochettino, was named the
Manager of the Month, after he continued to impress
with his well drilled Southampton side. The Saints were unbeaten
through out the month, beating both Fulham and Swansea at home and
drawing with Manchester
United at Old Trafford.
