Femi Fani-Kayode has alleged that President Goodluck Jonathan will attempt to declare himself winner of the 2015 Presidential election even if he loses the election. The former Minister of Aviation made this known in Minna, Niger State, while speaking with newsmen on Tuesday.

Fani-Kayode further alleged that Jonathan might attempt to split the country if he loses in 2015 at the Presidential election. He said the recent happenings in the factionalised Nigerian Governors Forum, NGF, is a clear indication of President Jonathans alleged desperate move to divide Nigeria should he fail to return to Aso Rock in Abuja in 2015.

It is only in Nigeria that a loser with the backing of the Presidency can declare himself the winner, leading to the splitting of NGF. This is a prerequisite for 2015. When the President is defeated, he will declare himself winner, the same way it happened in the NGF. He will try to split the country the same way he did to the NGF, Fani-Kayode told journalists.

Later on Wednesday, the 36 state governors are expected to be at the Presidential Villa in Abuja for an emergency dinner with the President. The dinner is holding at the same time Governor Rotimi Amaechi fixed for the NGF meeting in Abuja.
