Situation at the Olokuta Medium prison has been brought under control following a jail break which happened this morning during which no fewer than 175 prisoners escaped.
reports say a large detachment of secuirty agents including the state commissioner of police, patrick dukumor were on ground for the on the spot assessment of the incident..
Also some top government functionaries led by the attorney general and commissioner for justice, Eyitayo Jegede..
Speaking to reporters, the comptroller of prison in the state, Tunde olayiwola said the incident appened at about 12;05am and dispelled rumor the attacked was carried out by boko haram insurgents..
However at press time, some of the escaped prisoner have already been arrested by security agents..
