Thank God for one bold Governor in Nigeria! Yesterday, the Lagos State Governor Fashola arrested two senior Army officers using the lane reserved for only BRT buses in the Outer Marina, Lagos.
The Governor was around the area when he spotted the military car driving on the Bus Rapid Transit lane which is meant strictly for the BRT buses, and came down from his own car to confront the men.
It is good when everybody within the confinement of a nation respect all laws, rules and regulation guiding the vicinity where they take abode. It is only in Nigeria that Army officers, Police and other military abuse everything without questions. Thank God for this Governor, at least for this embarrassing confrontation.
