PARTNERS WITH KITCHEN HOUSE
Over the weekend Jefferson Akinsheye President
of the Student Union Government of Federal University of Technology, Minna got
the endorsement of a very vibrant Kitchen in Minna to be part of the development
of a very considerable environment for the well being of students on campus.
It as been known that the Gidan
Kwano campus of the school is very dormant as far as students social Life is
concern, in seeing to this Jefferson took the bold step of bringing the Kitchen
on campus which will help in making the campus more lively and keeping students
on the campus, which before now don’t always like staying on the other campus
of the school.
This was made known at the presentation
of Award for Excellence to Alhaji NMA MOHAMMED ABUBAKAR (MARWAN NUPE) Deputy Director
Ministry of Works and also the owner of immense kitchen who adores integrity
and young people. He had contributed graciously to the development of young
people in Job creation, Educational and Agricultural sectors to mention but a
few.
It was said that the Executive
sat and gave it a consideration at their 54th senate meeting where
he was nominated and found worthy of the honor after series of examination.
In his remarks he was indeed grateful
for the award and the assessment about him and that this will boost him and propel
his plan towards an ambition of creating jobs and employment for the general
public, which he also pledge support on the union project at hand which is the organization
of the union week, an annual educational and carnival ceremony that
incorporates activities like campaign anti social activities, career lectures,
beauty pageant and launching of union building.
He said that the Kitchen will
delivered great service to the students and owing to the fact that they are in
a schooling community their products will be very subsidize for them to be able
to patronize at any time they want. I have been there before, a times it can be
difficult for someone as a student to feed, some of these factors are what we
are putting in consideration to bring down our products to a subsidize rate.
He believed more in young
people and the students in Niger state, how they can be empowered to be great
leaders.
