ROTARACT SHOWS LOVE AT ORPHANAGE

Children at the orphanage homes are always neglected and left out of the society as if they are not humans at all; less attention is shown to this set of people which makes them affected physiology and makes it difficult to mingle with people outside the home.

December is set aside by the club to celebrate among themselves after a long year of excuting projects in the service of humanity, the Rotaract Club of Federal University of Technology; Minna Niger State took their end of the year family celebrations to the Niger State Orphanage Home at Minna.
Speaking on their Mission to the home, the FUT MINNA club President Rotrn Olaniyi Afolabi a 400 level student of Library and information Technology department said “The club decided to come celebrate with the orphans not because we are jobless or with don’t have something good to do with our resources but to show love and identify with this ones, it could be anybody that might be in their shoe. All the society need is to show some love to people like this always not to make them feel left out of life and always think of a way in render service to humanity which I believe is the primary aim of every human on earth.”

Appreciating the gesture of the students the on behalf of the Orphanage Home Mr. Hassan Audu said “This is not the first time the club will be extending their love to them. We are happy for all their efforts to make life worth living to the orphans. I pray that God will continually help, guide and provide for the club.”

Speaking with a club member that was at the home Rotrn Ibrahim Ali 500 level Agricultural and Bioresources said “This year family month is just to identify with the less privileged and the uncared for in the society, we as a student we saw that there is a need to identify with the children and show them some love to make them be more friendly with the society they found themselves even with the circumstances around them.”
