At the Nnamdi Azikiwe University centre, candidates for the examination were seen writing their exams in various halls without the usual hassles associated with such external examination, while their invigilators also monitored without problems.
One of the invigilators at the centre, who is also a lecturer at the university but refused to disclose his name said, "So far we have not had any problem. You can see the candidates taking their examination without problem, I can tell you that JAMB was very prepared for the exam, that is why it is this peaceful".
Speaking on the examination, the Public Relations Officer of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University said, "JAMB is improving every year. Here in Awka Anambra State, every where visited is orderly and calm.
"In Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka no one is in doubt that JAMB has done very well.
"Administering a massive examination of this nature nationwide, with this electronic sophistication is impressive. I wish the government can continue to encourage JAMB executive secretary, Prof. Ojerinde.
"Ojerinde is truly a patriotic Nigerian and should be emulated on how he has turned JAMB around in a country they always tell us is difficult to govern. Ojerinde ought to be a role model. Any candidate who passed would have worked hard enough".
