I won’t make any comment until after Feb 14 poll —OBJ

FORMER president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has said he would hold his peace on the state of the nation until a winner emerges in the February 14th presidential election.

Obasanjo, who spoke in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, on Wednesday, at a seminar organised for traditional rulers in Egbaland on how to generate wealth from waste, held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, said he had made enough comments as regards the coming elections in speech and body language, saying "if anybody is still looking for me to comment, the person has probably not been around for sometimes."

He emphasised that the country was blessed with both human and capital resources, insisting that it would take political will and the right people to turn Nigeria's situation around.

Obasanjo lamented a situation, where civil servants and teachers were being owed several months salaries, with specific reference to Benue State, wondering why it should be so.

"I have spoken enough. Our efforts start February 14th. We should go and vote that day and vote right. I will talk after the election," he said.
