Senate confirms FRSC boss as Minister

Report reaching our newsdesk indicates that the National Assembly, on Wednesday confirmed former head of Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Osita Chidoka as Minister of the Federal Republic.

Similarly, the Senate also confirmed Olanrewaju Abubakar, a lecturer with the University of Abuja, as a Minister.

The two men are now to be assigned portfolios and sworn-in by President Jonathan in no distant time.

However, the presidency is yet to announce Osita's successor at the FRSC..
