Speaking during a solidarity rally at the Freedom Square in Owerri, the Imo State capital, APC leaders from the constituency promised the Governor that come 2015, they would cast their votes and protect it to ensure that they retain him as their governor.
One after another, leaders from the Constituency comprising of three local governments, Owerri North, Owerri West and Owerri Municipal mounted the stage. They called on the people of the constituency to support APC in the state come 2015.
They cited the developmental projects executed by the Okorocha-led administration within the last 3 years as achievements that speak volume about his competence.
While addressing the crowd, Governor Okorocha said that the APC was the only party that could deliver the dividends of democracy to the citizens and in the past 3 years, his administration has succeeded in breaking the jinx of underdevelopment and poverty bedeviling the state.
The governor vowed to ensure that candidates would not be imposed on the people in all the elective offices.
