‪‪The people's Democratic party (PDP) in Ondo state says it is yet to be served the notice of suit filed by the Labour party in the state at the federal high court in Akure, challenging Independent national electoral commission (INEC) to declare its candidate winner of the Ilaje/Ese-Odo federal constituency by-election.‬‬
‪‪

Addressing journalists in Akure on Thursday, Deputy Chairman of PDP in the State, Fatai Adams noted that, the party has not been duly notified by the court, saying it remains steadfast in its call for a supplementary election in Arogbo ward 2 and other polling units where voting did not hold.‬‬

‪‪Adams also stressed that since the election was declared inconclusive by INEC, the electoral body should have concluded arrangement for a supplementary poll in places where election did not hold for a clear winner to emerge.‬‬
‪‪

‪‪The party however warned security agents in the state against collaborating with any individual or party against manufacturing fake security reports that can mislead the Court.‬‬

We know some unpatriotic and corrupt individuals have again embarked on a mission to procure a compromised security report from the department of State Security. The said report is intended to falsify forged documents details of activities on the day of the inconclusive election.

‪‪You may want to known that A federal high court in Akure has fixed may nineteen to hear the case filed by Labour party against INEC and six other political parties that participated in the April five ilaje/ ese Odo federal constituency by-election.‬

We want to thank the people of Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency for their patience on this matter, we assure them that this election will be conclusive soon. And we don't want individuals who are deceitful to use them achieve their unlawful act.

Thanks
