"Government will not do mass burial; we are already talking to their relatives; we are going to do normal things that pathologists normally do including DNA.

Everybody must be identified, except where no relative comes; then we will bury them decently. But, there will be no mass burial," he said The minister said death toll from the explosion had risen to 75.

National Mirror observed that the figure may be more because at some of the hospitals visited such as the Wuse General Hospital, six more people had died after they were brought to the hospital, while it was also gathered that one person, too, "may not make it" at the Maitama General Hospital, also located in the city.

But, Prof Chukwu said the figures had been reviewed for accuracy.
