Gunmen vandalise OloriSupergal’s car, police demand bribe to investigate crime

Popular blogger, Tosin Ajibade popularly known as Olorisupergal, was robbed on Wednesday night on Jubril martins street, lawanson, Surulere Lagos.

Although no life was lost, the bloggers' Honda Accord 2003 model with registration number GGE 202 CD navy blue color was vandalized.

Confirming the report, the dark skinned blogger she woke up this morning only to realize that her vehicle had been vandalized by unknown gunmen in front of her apartment.

"The unknown bandits broke the side screen of the car, got access into the car and did a complete ransacking of all that was kept in the car. From the dashboard to power window buttons, nothing was spared. They also opened the boot of the car and made away with the brand new LG Television that was in the boot." she told Porsche Class media.

On sighting the damage done to the car, OloriSupergal proceeded to Lawanson Police Station to report the case only to be asked to pay some bribe before the case could be looked into.

"I am seriously heartbroken at this point, not just because of the car but because of our so called policemen, those who are meant to be the major custodian of the law and protect the rights of the common man.
"I got to the police station this morning to make a formal report about what happened to my car overnight, the officer who attended to me was one Inspector Femi Victor Oni. I was told to write a statement which i did and at the end his colleague asked me to make payment so they can start investigation. I can't believe my ears that after experiencing that kind of loss, i ran to the police for succour and yet they're still asking me for money to help a common lady like me investigate a ported issue…This is just so sad and a shame on our great nation"
"It's time for those in authority to take a proper stand on the Nigerian Police and how they discharge their duties especially as it affects the common man", " she narrated.

As at the time of filing this report, nothing positive has been declared by men of the Lawanson Police Station who demanded a 'Pay before Service" to investigate the said criminal act.
